Definition: An international, youth-led, non-profit organization with the aim of promoting STEM Engagement & Literacy
Why are we different?
Our non-profit has a long-term vision that extends decades into the future to maximize global impact. We want to spark a revolution in the way young students approach Science. Our organization wants to tackle the problem of students losing interest in STEM due to poor educational resources that is common in under-funded communities.
What have we done?
Our project has reached more than 300+ students world wide through our webinar and chapters. Some of our members have already gotten to publish their research paper in top-tier journals.
What are we planning to do?
Many students in elementary and middle school are not fortunate enough to be supplied with teachers and resources that will spark their curiosity in STEM and problem solving. Therefore we are working on a project called 'STEM Boxes.' With these boxes, we are packing fun/problem solving games that will simulate the scientific process of inquiry in a fun way! What this will look like is them using the principles of magnetism to solve a criminal case!
